Default Please help me

Larry is driving both me and my boyfriend crazy! He used to bite the water bottle and it was reasonably loud then we bought him a new one to stop it but now he's biting the side of the cage where the latches are to open it and I don't mean for a couple of minutes I mean for hours! He goes in his ball everyday, I give him fresh food and water, I bought him loads of new toys he liked them for a while now he's over them. Last night he woke us up at 3am and I had to put him in a different room but we could still hear him. It's so loud and I'm scared for my housemates.

Place give me solutions.

Thanks.

I know that plastic bin cages absorb noise real well. I live in a poorly insulated apt & never had a problem with noise in a bin cage.

Yup only forever fix with this would be a Bin cage or a detolf/tank cage. He likes his freedom in his Ball so wants OUT now

These Hamsters are a lot smarter then some people think and if they find a way to get us to react they will grab it and run with it. If a different cage is not and option you may want to rearrange his toys ever so often so he thinks he has new ones. Make sure his wheel is of a good size as well as often if the wheel hurts to use they quite using the one toy which tends to keep them occupied and also exercised.

Oh dear - that's not good for his teeth either! Has anything changed in his cage recently? Ours tends to bite his water bottle when his wheel is not working properly! To get my attention.
