I think it's true bar chewing can be a sign of stress and boredom particularly in its onset but I also think some hams just discover it gives them a kind of high and they keep doing it for the 'fun' of it. Willow used to zone herself out bar chewing sometimes,it looked so unhealthy! Luckily it didn't become a habit for her but if that's what happened with your little guy the tank will be the only thing needed to sort him out. Fingers crossed.... If he is stressed over something it will become obvious in other ways so it should be easy to tell

Yes indeed. Once he is in the tank and if he is still showing other signs of stress I don't know what I will do I am almost sure it isn't boredom and it wouldn't surprise me if he found it fun! Hearing me sigh and try to ignore him lol.
