Im not sure if this is good or bad please help!

So my Syrian Houdini is really well tamed, she will sit with me watching tv and wander around a bit and chill out. However, today I got her Out for a cuddle, she sat in hand / lap for around 45 minutes and would have been more if my back didn't start hurting, chilled out and I stroked her, she literally took a couple steps, almost slow motion and just chilled Out. She didn't seem stunned or nervous, she was just laying there. I brought her over to my bf and after a struggle got her to go to him and she started running around again as normal. Then I took her back to put her home and she like relaxed again and chilled out, I put her back home in her detolf, she just chilled on my hand, took her a while to slowwwwwwly walk off it and ran a bit on her wheel, now she's running slow motion and then stopping and slow motion and starting. I gave her a treat and she took it. Itnwas one of the most amazing experiences ever how she literally sat with me and was getting love but I'm not sure if there could be anything bad ? It's just so unusual to me !

If it is good however I hope I get to experience this adgain, it was amazing.

Did she stick her bum up at all when she was just laying there? I had a ham that when she was in heat you could just touch her and she'd stick her bum up - this is the position they would do to mate so its completely natural! She would sit there for ages like it, completely still.

If not then it seems either something really scared her or she's just totally chilled out with you guys!

Yeah I think she may have been, she's back to normal, it was just such a surreal experience, she's really chilled out with us normally she Will just walk around on us and the sofa whilst we watch tv a lot of the time lol

See if it happens again in 4 days as if it does it is her in heat and you were stroking her in a way which triggered her mating stand where BF didn't and why she ran about with him but stood so still with you. Also is she your only Hamster or do you have another which is a male? If the 2nd answer, and this behavior occurred after you handled a male, it was because she smelled him on you LOL.
