Awww bless him! Pip does sound happier already, seems you made the right decision & I can imagine how relieved you must be to have that worry off your mind.
I'd love to see photos of your new set up & the little guys too if you can get any

I'm not too sure about impressive! I have to admit I made some of it up as I went along! I made the platforms high enough to fit the wheels under to use the space. Pip does seem more relaxed and hopefully this will only improve. He was a bit nervous to go up the ramp and bottled out a few times! He finally crept up stretching his neck to see! He can obviously still hear and smell Boo but hopefully he'll see that there's nothing to worry about now! Boo could do with a smaller hut now they have half the space. If I had the room I'd get another tank and they could have one each!! I haven't been able to get very good photos of them so far as they don't stay still very long but Boo is the white one with a grey stripe and Pip is the little one that's more grey/brownx

Very nice job DebiT!! It looks great! I'm sure you'll have 2 very happy hamsters.
I've been eyeing a Roborovski on Craigslist. I have a Marchioro Kevin 82 cage with nothing in it at the moment. I would love to get him, but I'm still not sure if I'm ready for another hamster just yet. There will always be more when I am ready.

I love the little signs you made with your hamsters names on them, and I love the blue with white polka dots. It looks adorable!

Looking fab DebiT, they will be happier now, I`m sure and so will your nerves! I use either cardboard tea boxes or tissue boxes as sleeping houses (removing the floor of the box) because they are cheap, chewable and easily replaced and light, so the robo can move it about if he wants. So if you wanted to remove the heavy huts you have, cardboard boxes are a wonderful alternative. White or plain boxes could also be painted using child safe paints to decorate their little polka dot theme! Something for the future perhaps! x

Thank you! All of my pets have little name signs; even the snake! I will probably replace Boo's hut at some point but I'll leave them to settle again for a bit. The huts are 100% hamster safe wood and they do have a nibble on them! Pip's house is edible and has no bottom so I think his should be okay. Again, thanks all for your help and advice. Hopefully we'll all be happier now! X
