Chewing wheel
Sweep is chewing on his wheel! He's never done this before. I am concerned he will hurt his teeth on it or he will chew a big hole in it and chewing platic isn't good for them. The only things in the cage that aren't meant to be chewed is his wheel, sputnik and the ceramic cup. Everything else can be chewed, plus goodness knows how many other chews and he rarely chew things! Am debating removing the wheel for the night and giving him the flying saucer, but am unsure if that is a good idea or not. I do not want to wake up tomorrow to find he's destroyed the wheel and potetially made himself ill from chewing the plastic! At the same time I don't understand why he is doing this! What can I do to stop it?

Re: Chewing wheel
Have you washed his wheel recently? Maybe try moving the wheel to another part of his cage if that's possible?
