Question Robo dwarf flips out of her wheel

Hi!
So I got a new roborovski dwarf hamster. She is a baby and she is SO cute. Her name is Pumpkin. But one thing that worries me a little bit is that when she runs in her wheel, she will very often flip in her wheel or flip than fall out. And this worries me. She does not have any injures jet. But Im afraid that one time she will get injured. I do not know what to do. Should I take out her wheel for some hours (she seems a bit addicted to it), should I leave the wheel in, should I get a new wheel? I don't know currently she has a comfort wheel, which is the perfect size for her. Please help me.

Pumpkin is such a cute name, especially for a little fluffy Roborovski!
Honestly I wouldn't worry about her too much - she should get used to it given time.
If she doesn't seem to be improving her technique after a week or so or you're not comfortable just leaving her be you could consider getting her a flying saucer I guess. She should be fine though, enjoy your new hammy!

I'd leave the wheel for now and let her get used to it, she will get control of it in time. How old is she and how often is she running in the wheel?

Hector flipped himself upside down when I first got him a silent spinner. When I got him a flying saucer for his playtub he'd fly out of that too but always get straight back on. He seems a lot better these days now & doesn't try to outrun himself as much so he doesn't end up spinning round! So long as there's nothing too hard in the line of fire for a Pumpkin to hurt herself on then she's probably fine.

I would leave the wheel to allow Pumpkin to master the skill! A Comfort wheel? Is that one of the solid plastic wheels with a wide running surface? Or the one that looks like a fake silent spinner? Sorry I`m confused!

If it`s the silent spinner look-alike wheel, it may tilt inward and this could cause issues if Pumpkin were to land on the edge. These wheels have a design `curve` inwards. While the wheel I`m thinking of is flat on the running surface.

My Russian dwarf used to try out his `real` silent spinner and his back leg would keep slipping off, but he soon realised this and now runs on it like a crazy nut! x

They do often grow out of it but I've found with mine they are less inclined to flip out with a silent spinner wheel as the surface has that curve on it which helps keep them in.
Just so long as she's only landing on substrate & nothing hard she should be fine though.
