Hyper hamster

Biscuit is still young and hyperactive and always wants to play. He wakes around 11pm for a play but then always greets us in the morning, remaining active and wanting to play often up to 11am. Long time I thought, so I suspected he gets a lot of sleep at night.

Does he heck! Last night I moved one of our security cameras to face the cage. My goodness, he did not seem stop once. He was on the go all night and still wanted out this morning. And this after a good long play last night.

Anyway I will try to assemble all the camera images into a movie later on.

Oh wow, I've always wondered what my furries get up to when I'm not looking! That hilarious though that yours was up all night and still wanted more when you got up

That is really hyper! He must be exhausted after all that lol!
I do wonder if all the activity might have something to do with the size of the temporary cage though as he seems to be mostly exploring the bars & ignoring the wheel or anything inside the cage, be interesting to see if he calms down in another cage or if he's just naturally totally manic!

Haha those videos are hilarious! I wish I could see what my hammies are up to at night...

Our Syrians have always tended to be a bit hyperactive when young, often waiting by the cage door to be taken out again immediately after being put back. Don't think we've ever had one quite that energetic though!
