Question New hamster squeaking?

Hey guys, I got my first hamster today, I didn't notice squeaking when it first arrived home but over a few hours she's been very vocal, sometimes when having an itch, other times just roaming around. She's very tame, no biting, eating, drinking is fine. Is she just a chatty hamster or could it be something else? The bedding I use is care fresh ultra and shredded toilet paper? Would that cause respiratory problems?

She's just nervous, a new home can be quite scary. So it's important to let her settle in and mark her territory. All these different smells in her cage and around her will make her squeak, it's nothing to worry about, make sure you talk to her softly and let her get use to your voice. Also I recommend the tissue trick, stuff some tissues up your sleeve and leave for a couple of hours, then put in heart cage, she'll be able to smell you and even better if she uses it in her bedding.
