Re: Naughty Syrian Constantly Chews His Bars
Hey there!
I just thought I'd quickly let you know that Puff (my hamster) chewed her bars non stop, because she knew it always got my attention. Just literally today her new cage arrived, and it came with a really big wheel. As soon as she got into the cage she hopped on the wheel and started running, it was so odd because I've genuinely never seen her run on a wheel before! My old one was so tiny!
She's currently running on it right now!

Re: Naughty Syrian Constantly Chews His Bars
My hammy baby girl is driving me potty too and made her nose bleed while I was at work so have ordered her a savic orbital large wheel to see if that helps. I gave her lots of attention this evening and a good run out in her ball and she has settled down now. She has a huge alexander cage but still gets stressed when she isnt the centre of my attention. If the new wheel doesnt work then I'll save up for a tank x

Re: Naughty Syrian Constantly Chews His Bars
I've lucked out with cage bar chewing. They seem to be able to get out of the habit. But for a lot of hamsters, the no bars cage is really the best solution. Hope the wheel makes a difference!
