Cause... The poop pops out. Fresh. xD I didn't mean the cute little dough boy...
Although I'm sure if he pooped out a dough ball he'd pick it up with the intention of assimilating it back into his system via the mouth... That's a kind of Coprophragy, surely?

Re: Putting the Poo back in Pooky ....Literally
Oh dear - I originally read this thread last night and as Skeever pointed out, it was indeed late so I decided not to post as I already had thoughts of hamsters imitating budgies in my head to try to avoid in dreamland and so went along with the process of the less I had to think about Skeever's haunting image, the better for my dreams.
However, having revisited the thread today, I no longer need to witness this delightful action through my own little "angels" (not sure that will ever be used again if I do witness the poo platter of delights amongst my gang) as the image has been burnt into my long term memory from all the precise and excellent descriptions in this thread.
I just hope I can avert my eyes quickly any time I spot a ham in preparation of achieving the desired position of "Butts poised upwards towards, open eager mouth and paws awaiting.." which Spyro so vividly described!

My English teacher would be no doubt proud of my capabilities in the art of writing descriptive texts

Yes. It was vivid. In a Fifty Shades of Argouti kinda way.....
As we teach in all writing courses? Write about what you know.....hehehehe
And yes, the Pillsbury Doughboy was pretty clear a picture as well? Unfortunately.....

*Gags* Freya would never do such a thing... she's a lady... ahem... *looks at her seed pile... and her poo pile...* Okay, maybe she's just a little bit less than a lady.
I hope not to experience this practice.
Hmmm Hubby is cooking curry... I'm a little put off now... grains of rice... lol lol

I agree CPalmer. And the best way NOT to experience it, is to just not do it, not even once, no matter how curious you get. I'm sure it doesn't have the health benefit it has for hamsters. It's bad enough the hamsters do it.....don't you get started too!

Okay, first one persons ham is squeaking....now everyones ham is squeaking.....then, one ham is caught eating its own poo....now theres a second thread!!!! They're part of a collective hamster mind....and something that was slumbering is waking up!!! This is soooo Godzilla.....if Godzilla ate his own poo, that is....and squeaked.
A giant, squeaking, poo eating radioactive dinosaur monster.

If you think hams are bad doing this, you should have a chinchilla. Its like giant hams. lol. I knew rodents and rabbits done it but never knew about chins until I had them. Puts you off raisins for a while. lol
