Hello, I adopted an older hamster named Hammy a week ago today. He was the most nervous hamster I have ever had, he was scared of his own shadow! Today I had to clean him out and was scared that he was going to be nervous. Well it turned out that he is quite happy to be picked up and given love and attention. He loves nothing more than running around my neck and up the cushions of the sofa. I am really happy that he is getting better, just wanted to share this with you

Thank you, I had too adopt as he was stuck in a small glass cage with just a wheel. He was really old so I knew no one was going to get him. I am just a big softie for animals!
