Er... I'd post in either misc or hamster chat I think. Its a very good question where to post those though lol

Er... Email settings should be somewhere under settings... Just checked and its under edit options (which is under quick links at the top)

The updates must be due to something in your personal settings. I don't get any, so I must have ticked (or not) a box when setting up my account. Go to the User CP (top left of screen) & check through your options. I am sure one of the moderators will have the solution if you cannot sort it out.

A weird section - I'll see you there!

Thanks Humfry , I thought I unchecked that, but it still updates every post I've been involved with every morning, often with no new updates. And I'm pretty sure I unclicked notifications a while back. Not to say it isn't priceless when people who shouldn't be reading my emails over my shoulder find "BREEDING DWARVES!" but , this could also work against me , wink, wink..............

peace

Am I safe by the way from finding his royal rodentness and checking that he's still breathing all night long? He is , at the end of the day, just a hamster :O and anything new he does has me confused. It's like he binged on Tequila and is now face down in his own vomit. Without the vomit. I should leave him alone till tomorrow, right?

Yes. He's just tired himself out. He most likely explored all over while he was out.

Tired HIMSELF OUT? HIMSELF? WHILE HE WAS OUT? He ran rampant while I WAS OUT! LOL

Sigh. He's pretty sturdy as Syrians go, since his menu is now in the hit and miss stage, and he doesn't get all tummy troubled with odd things like tiny sammiches made of bits of cracker, a chunk of cheddar....or dates, or bits of pizza slices without tomato but full of mozzeralla goodness and chicken. And eggs and turkey. In small bits.

He really is healthier atm than I can believe. I was scared I would find an escaped hamster on death's door with dehydration. Instead I found a party animal not yet finished with the party? His ninja jump last night, a first , reminded me he may be more fit than I am. Doesn't hurt to be overprotective for sure, but I can't in all conscience take away the ski's and poles he thinks are hidden from me. I know, and he doesn't that when summer arrives here, it won't even RAIN till NOVEMBER! mwahahahahaa.....so I can promise him the 'slopes' knowing its off season.

Did I mention my concern of how these particular rodents melt our brains?

Cheers,
