Doesn't want to poop in toilet or bed!
Hi again folks!
For the last few days Her'cules has been taking her bedding out of her bed, and making a nest in the corner of her cage. Which she is also pooping ALOT in.
She has a bed and a toilet, which have a poo in each, but for some reason she loves this corner? Any tips or advise on how to get her to stop doing this as it makes cleaning her poops out so messy and time consuming.
Also i've tried to make this corner less dark, will this help?
Thank you!!!

Can you move her toilet to the corner she's using?

She's probably too warm in her house - is it plastic or wooden?

We have a double layer cage so we can't fit the toilet into the corner! and the temperature is usually around 20-25, I thought that was good?

Hm, my house is 22 degrees, but I find 25 a bit hot.

25 is a bit hot to me too. I tend to prefer to keep mine at about 20. When it hits 25 is when I start adding cooling tiles and stuff to the cages.

Her'cules.... Fab name by the way!!!!
We brought Neptune home on Sunday, we had a house in the cage which he tried to rest behind it. We took it out, and he built his own nest which he prefers.
I would let her make her bed and arrange her cage however she feels is best and see how she gets on!
