In theory yes that should be enough total space to be ok and stop him bar chewing... In practice Scamp showed us that a single big area is really different to loads of smallish ones so a single bigger area can sometimes help. Or it can not make a blind bit of difference depending on the ham - e.g Eggbiscuit can't live in anything thats not a large tank.
With Scamp we stopped her bar chewing for a while by removing all access to bars while she was in her rotastak. We stopped her for a few weeks, stuffed a kidney unit with substrate and tried to get her digging instead. It worked and she did get the rest of her cage back without problems, but a good while down the line she started bar chewing again and then we just remeshed her entire cage with smaller mesh before she damaged her teeth too badly.
