Is he bored?
Hi. I av had my syrian Freddie for nearly a week. All he's done when awake is want out. He has got an exercise ball n toys and hes had playtime in the bath. As soon as i put him back in the cage hes chewing the bars on top and the plastic at the sides.
He doesn't like being touched so i can't handle him.
Any advice would be appreciated

Re: Is he bored?
There are taming threads that may help you with taming. I think it's perfectly normal for Freddie to always want out. So you have a play area outside of the cage and a wheel in his cage? Do you have a picture of his cage setup?

Re: Is he bored?
It's cute! Could you add a hammock? Not really sure if that helps with boredom or not. I also don't know if you rotate toys but that's something I do have to work on. I don't have a big enough collection yet. Is he chewing the cage when you're not around? My boy used to do that to get my attention but he stopped after about a week. Hopefully yours will stop too. Try not to pay attention to him when he does it or he'll learn he gets what he wants when he does it.

Re: Is he bored?
Actually, you know what I did for my boy? I already had the saucer and I added a traditional wheel as well so he has both and runs back and forth between the two.
