hamster showing her teeth
Hi I got hamster last thursday from petsmart
I give her 3~4 days to get used to home
after I was handle her
she didn't bite or nip me
everytime I was handle her she,s
showing her teeth like that in picture
is something wrong with her?
what should I do?

Is her mouth gaping or is it only when she lifts her head? To me that second pic looks just like my hamster when he looks up. The skin on his throat gets tight and pulls his lower lip back so that I can see his teeth.

I don't think it's anything to worry about as braingirl posted sometimes they just show their teeth as they look up, it's not a sign of aggression, and is quite normal. Saying that teeth do have to be check regular to make sure that they have not got overgrown, give her some nice wooden chews to prevent this. Cute little hammy by the way.
