Trouble getting her attention
So, my 2 months old hamster is getting really difficult to handle.
She wakes up at midnight everyday, then runs in her wheel for 6 hours.
Because I am busy with school lately, I can only stay up till 12:30 and it makes it hard to spent time with her, taming her and handling her.
I try to tame her everyday when she wakes up (11pm-1am) but sometimes I fall asleep before she even wakes up. And if I manage to catch her awake, she does not leave her wheel for even a second.
She is still far from tame and kind of skittish.
Do I need to take out the wheel, during the time I talk to her/gives her treats/taming to get her attention?
Please help me connect with my hamster.
