How many of you have vocal hamsters?

Last night, i had a bit of a mini heart attack because i could hear some really weird squeaking noises.. after listening at a few cages (i find it difficult to pinpoint noise having bad ear problems) i noticed it was my new rescue Ember! She doesn't do it all the time, she just goes squeaking to herself whilst playing!
I've done a health check and she has no signs of illness whatsoever, she's completely normal. She's perfectly happy too, she's settled right in since rescuing, she loves being fussed over (she'd never had attention given to her in her year-long life) and loves her new cage compared to the tiny piece of rubbish she lived out the first year of her life in.
I've never had a vocal hamster before.. does anyone else have a squeaker? Why do they do it?

Some hamsters are just more vocal than others, im unsure why they do it but all of mine squeak to each other through the middle of the night, i used to worry at first but then began to realise it is perfectly normal for hamsters to be vocal

My syrian, Darwin, is quite a vocal little guy. He squeaks when he doesn't like something AND when he's happy too! You should hear him when I scatter feed him...he walks around squeaking up a storm, pausing of course to pouch what he has found! Lol

My baby robo Willow squeaks when happy too, it's very very cute Beau does too but not as often. Sometimes I think they are trying to talk to each other

I don't anymore and I miss it! Bart, my hybrid, used to squeak when cleaning himself in his nest. Genta, a Syrian, would scream in her sleep. I may have more squeaking when I have an entire female Syrian in the house again! I love how they call to the boys when they're in heat (though it did make it hard to hear the TV sometimes).

This is very reassuring lol.....It's so so cute Ember is doing it tonight again heard her a few times! I'm trying to get her to talk to me haha
Snowy screams in his sleep every day, i'm always paranoid he's hurting or something but he seems fine
