I think I've got her tamed!

Hey, I posted a few days ago saying my new hamster biscuit was biting. But she seems to be really settled now! I used the tissue paper trick but she was still getting 'cage rage' so I started placing my hand in with a glove which she would bite but climb on to. Today she didn't bite the glove so I braved it and put my hand in..success no biting! She's not even biting my oh who hasn't really been taming her or anything at all. Thought it may have been a one off but she seems pretty happy to climb up my arm then sit in my hands.

Kaylah, can I ask what sort of glove you used? Was it a normal gardening glove? Because I think I'm going to have to resort to this with Pepe, or I don't think either of us will ever have the confidence to be hand tame! Me and my hubby have both had quite deep nips which were painful for a while...

It was actually just a leather glove, could still feel her nibbling but wasn't the big bites i normally felt! i was the same, i started to fear putting my hand in, but after a couple of go's with the glove i noticed some inprovement and was then able to go bare handed. she still nibbles now but just the once to test what i am i think!

Wow, so cool! I'm glad you managed to get her tame ^^ I remember when I finally felt certain that my baby Reid was tamed - the best feeling in the world.
