Feel like giving up :(
I know I wont but taming Bisto is soooooo slow.
Hes such a funny little guy when hes out, but he rarely comes out, and when he does hes so scared and jumpy. He lets me stroke him, but if I offer him my fist in he sniffs and runs away.
I so want him to come and play.
He doesn't like the bath tub, he runs away and hides (wont climb over me etc) Ive bout him a crinkle tunnell and hes scared to death of it.
Sorry about the negativity, but just wanted to vent a little.
Thanks for listening.....well reading.

only 2 weeks on Tuesday.
I dont really know how long it should take. Ive read stories of people taming their lovely hamsters in days/2 weeks.
I dont think he likes me very much

I've had Darla since January and he's still not tame. Yes, he is a Robo, but still
Lynternette's Dusty (Syrian) took months to tame too, IIRC.

Re: Feel like giving up :(
It takes a while, I've had Zoro since april and she's still not completely tame. Things do take time. Don't just give up after 2 weeks.

Re: Feel like giving up :(
It can be very frustrating but don't worry, you'll be rewarded in the end. My Cheeto is tame for the most part but she still has days sometimes when she gets all flinchy and jumpy for no real reason. They're all different! Good luck.

dont give up, these things take a lot of time and patience, it took my last hamster 6 months to become fully tame
