Well, I think Robo's may stretch patience, especially as they are so supercute and you just want to take them out and stroke them and be near them. I rehomed Poppy 3 months ago from owners that had her a few months and told me she was not tame. I spent a lot of time talking to her and after three days I tried the food from hand which did not work for another few days but then she tried. I tried to touch her which did not go down well at all for weeks. For cleaning it was always like a race getting her out (with me being the big looser as she is sooo quick. But she started looking more comfortable would clean and eat and sometimes I think she just doe snot like humans or likes taking us for a ride
She is still is not tame I am afraid but she is getting a lot better, she comes out when she hears my voice and comes near the glass and puts her paws there as if to greet me, which is very nice. She is also out and about at all sorts of times during the day, which is great, as I am used to Syrians who like a lie-in
. Although I can't take her out in a way I had hoped (yet, I ve not given up!)) I am still so enchanted with her and never get bored watching her I hope you have a lot of sawdust/megazorb for her to dig proper tunnels, she loves it, I am so amazed at what architecture she can produce with her mere paws!
I am sure you ll love your little fella, too and I am keeping my fingers crassed that he will get more tame with the time, keep us posted!
