Default Re: My russian dwarves will not use their wheel

Having taken a while to get started I actually can't stop them now!! (Not that I want to stop them...) When I got them they were a tad overweight - which I put down to the fact that their cage in the store was probably a bit on the teency side for a litter of 6 or more dwarfs, with only one little wheel, which they weren't using anyway.

Now, with the combination of a better diet and scatter feeding, plus all of this exercise, my girlies are looking very trim and healthy indeed! I bought a notebook yesterday to record their weekly weight.

I just wanted to say again thank you for the advice. Hannah and Sophie are very grateful!

Good! I'm glad they're nice and healthy now, and glad they have discovered the wheels at long last.
Its nice to get a happy ending to a story about hamsters
