Is that safe for hamsters though? Just with it being a dog product I'd worry it was too strong...

Its safe. Someone has used it perfectly safely and checked the ingredients a lot before use. I trust her, so I trust its safe. Simple.

I was just asking, I wasn't implying anything by it, sorry if it sounded that way...

Oh no! No! Nothing bad said by you at all!
I'm sorry if I implied there had been or if I sounded off or anything... Really, really didn't mean to

I was just saying it that way because it was how I was thinking. I'm really, really sorry it came accross badly. I didn't think at all and really didn't mean to seem to be saying anything bad.

Was just explaining she'd checked it a lot and such. Sorry!

Beth, what were you planning to use to remove the corner shelves from your tank? Can you just run a knife along the join or does it require special solvent?

No no don't worry Sam, you know what the internets like! A hot bed of misunderstandings. Thanks for confirming i can use it because I might buy some.
Well today was the day I got my 'worlds sharpest knite' and cut out the top platform, bailey is in a huff with me but she'll have her new shelf tomorrow so she's only losing a little space for a little amount of time!

I figured it being ok for puppies, I did ask the manager and they advised it was safe for all animals. I had to do something, I can't afford another cage, he is in a Hamster Heaven, and he was wrecking his nose. Since I used it, the hair is growing back and he still climbs the bars. Smells strong when you first do it so I did it with him out the cage

Bright hair don't worry, I think if things go back to how they were when the shelf was in then I'll go for it!

My Syrian eats his bars and scratches his cage (almost to a hole) in different areas. If I spray the spray do I put it on the whole base??

I don't think spraying the base will stop scratching only chewing. There some reasons hamsters chew mostly due to boredom, cage or wheel being to small not enough things in the cage to keep them occupied. Sometimes it just becomes a habit that's hard to break.
With Carmine who destroyed 1 cage through chewing, i moved him into a ZZ2 as it was obvious no amount of space, toys and out of cage time was going to stop it while the bars were still there.
In the ZZ2 i made sure there was nothing he could climb onto to reach the bars at the top after a few weeks i eventually bought some wooden steps and hanging toys that meant he could reach the top and he has not chewed at all just perches on top of the steps and pays no attention to the bars
