You get a serious amount of blood too for such a little bite!
I do agree with you. The shock is worst than the bite itself. I was so mad when she did it because I was about to fix my hair and I cant be putting cream in my hair with blood on my finger. Yeah, kinda nasty. I have heard that hamsters can sense our emotions, is this true?

I believe so, but I think it's the same with any animal. Their senses are so much more pronounced than ours. Dogs for example, can always sense how their owners are feeling.

A Hamster will sense nervousness for example, which is why confident handling is so important.

It would be so sweet if when I was sad that my hammy cuddled me and licked my finger. That would make me so happy.

It sounds like she really likes you I would say she's tame, or well on her way to being 100% tamed. All my hamsters became tame pretty quickly. As long as you show them that you want to care and love for them, they will open up pretty easily. Nemo is tame but doesn't like it when I try to pick him up directly out of the cage. Sometimes I have to coax him but once he's out, he's fine and likes to play and cuddle.

How exactly do hamsters cuddle with you?

My Syrian spends about half an hour on my lap half asleep whilst I stroke her back during her cuddle time <3

To get her to sleep on my lap is like asking a toddler to stop running around the room. It seems somewhat impossible. That must be the sign of a well exercised and happy hammy

She's still young right? They calm down as they get older. Cookie's about 7/8 months now and she's way more chilled. Totally hyperactive as a youngster but she's developed a bit of a laziness as she's aged

She is about 3 months old. Also, how much should they weigh at that age for a female syrian. And I notice when she is walking she looks really flat, why does she look like that?
