Is she tamed?
I have had my hammie about a week now but I swear she likes me already.
Every morning when I wake up she is running in her wheel, which is a great thing to wake too. When I get up she stops but she will come to the side of the cage closest to me, stand up, grab the bars and stare at me like she is waiting for something. In the morning I give her some of my breakfast, which is whole grain cheerios in almond milk, and since they can eat almonds I guessed that almond milk would be fine. So she eats breakfast with me. I also give her two raisins and when I come home I give her a few worms.
She also sits still for about 30 seconds to let me touch her. Her fur is just so soft, she is irresistable. When I put my hand in the cage she holds on to my finger and sniffs it, sometimes I worry that she wants to bite me but she never does. She has tried to put my finger in her mouth but she doesnt bite, and she has also licked me.
By my description of her does it sound as if she is tamed? If so, that must be a record.

Re: Is she tamed?
That's lovely Try and hold her if she is acting so postively towards you and see what happens
Some hamsters just instantly click with you, when I got Sprout he was tame from the second I got him and just instantly liked me, he is awesome

Re: Is she tamed?
I noticed that if I put her on the bed and trap her between my legs or somewhere else she will scratch at the sheets and bite it trying to get out and she has done this while on my clothes but I always lift her before she bites me.

Luna does that - she caught my stomach with her teeth once while pulling at my top >.<

Re: Is she tamed?
I think 'tamed' is subjective to each individual, and each individual hamster also. For example, I consider both Max and Maggie tamed, but Maggie will walk straight onto my hand out of her cage the second I offer it, whereas Max has to be bribed with a sunflower seed and a lot of soft talking so he knows it's me. But they have very different personalities, and I believe he has reached his 'full potential', for want of a better way of putting it! So, if you are happy with your interaction and handling of her, I would say yes, she is tamed.

Re: Is she tamed?
Ow that must have hurt. She bit my finger the day I got her and it hurt for like two days afterwards. I was worried that it might get infected cause their teeth are yellow but it was fine with a bit of disinfectant.

Hamster teeth are naturally yellow, much like ours are naturally white. It doesn't indicate anything about the bacteria in the mouth, so don't worry. Those little nips are nasty though, like getting a paper cut but deeper!

Re: Is she tamed?
Well, while I am happy with our bond so far I'm sure she probably can be tamed a bit more as she always seems to run away from me when I put her on my bed, but that may just be her wanting to explore.

I compared it to the prick of a diabetes test. Only thing is it hurts for a while later.

Re: Is she tamed?
It's the short, sharp shock rather than the pain that gets me with a bite. Can't help but flinch which doesn't really help anyone .
You get a serious amount of blood too for such a little bite!
