Improve my Ninja Hamster's skills!

Coco is a bit of a Ninja Hamster. She is quick, can climb and jump and demolishes cardboard and wood like it's her sworn enemy!

However, she only seems interested in the wood or cardboard if it is attached to the side of her cage. If it is hanging or loose in the cage, she ignores it.

Is there any way of "training" her to gnaw at it when it is loose etc?

erm...unfortunately no
Hamsters will do whatever they want to do, they're way too stubborn for training

However, maybe you could slot the cardboard into different toys in the cage to encourage her?
