Default Bottle chewing...

Ruby has got her old habit back of chewing the end of the water bottle. Not only is this annoyign for me who has to put up with the sound, but she keeps getting her fur wet because of it aswell which I don't want.
Does anyone know how I can stop her from doing it? She used her last two water bowls as toilets and since she is in a zoozone 2 removing the bottle would leave a gap that she sticks her nose through and bite.
And it can't be boredom since she is spoilt in her choice of toys to chew and destroy.

I made Sen a shelf out of the Zoozone 2's hay rack by weaving cardboard through the bars, and placing up side down and propping it up with a block of wood (the yellow P@H one). I then sat her bowl on top of that, because she was kicking substrate into it on the floor.

I covered the bottle hole with 2 layered squares of duct tape (on the inside she she wouldn't chew the edge) as a temporary measure but she hasn't once even sniffed it. So it's staying until I can be bothered buy a nut, bolt and pieces of metal/plastic.

i had that problem with voodoo and toby, i think its because the bottle wobbles when they chew the end, it makes it lots of fun.
the way i got around it was using blutack!
i stuck the bottom of the bottle to the base of the zoozone with the blue tack, it stopped them being able to wobble the bottle, and stopped the sound, they soon lost all interest in doing it

i dont like water bowls for hamsters, they arent safe in my opinion
