It's lovely, and no matter what time it is I can't help but smile when a ham talks to me. Even 4am! It's just remarkable to me that they are talking to their human to communicate a message, like we do with them 
Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who talks to hams like you do in this video. Matt and our roommate think I'm crazy when I sweet talk my girls and refer to myself as the mumma

I'm mummy!!! Thankfully my housemate/best friend has a hamster too and he's daddy to her. 
Tom, my partner, refuses to be daddy to my hams but I do tell them he is. XD

I don't call my OH a hamster daddy. And it's a bit strange saying to Sen if he doesn't like it. So I'm just mum (I never call myself mum other than on here, and when I say "Are you mummy's clever little girl". I've never said "I'm mum." :/ I think I'm too frightened and panic at what OH would do if he thought I wanted babies right now. Lmao.

Oh the word "Babies" and "Pregnant" are banned from my house. -.- Even when I'm talking about the cats. If I say "I'm getting babies next week!" I get a cushion thrown at me and then "NO. We don't use that word!" XD He's such a paranoid soul.

I always refer to myself as "mummy" with my girls. I'm back living at home at the moment so Mum and Dad become Nana and Grandad. My Dad has even started referring to himself as Grandad whenever he's chatting to them
