Constantly Moving the Hamster Cage from Room to Room-is this stressful?
I cannot keep our hamsters cage set up in just one place in our home-i keep moving it to various places in our home whereever its going to be quietest-does it matter keep moving the cage to different room or is it likely to cause stress to the animal?
Have a dirty hamster that wets everywhere & is a nervous wreck-is this due to stress from constantly moving its cage from room to room?

What do you mean by dirty and wets?
Moving from room to room is a bad idea as it does/can cause stress. Just choose the place in your house thats quietest during the day for the longest amount of time.

Why cant you keep the hamster in one area? it would probably be less stressfull for the little one.

Well I had assumed that but what does she mean by the statement? Dirty as in its got poo on it or just goes anywhere in the cage, same with peeing? If so, thats probably a combination of being distured so much, not having any toilet training (or a toilet, which isnt obviously necessarily needed) and the cage not being spot cleaned enough.
I wanted to clarify what was meant

I see. I bet it means that the ham is going everywhere since it's really noticeable, but I could be wrong.

Re: Constantly Moving the Hamster Cage from Room to Room-is this stressful?
If your hamster is dirty and wet and is a nervous wreck as you say, it definitely suggest that he is perhaps overly stressed. Even if the cage moving isn't causing it, something clearly isn't quite right.
I really don't think it's a good idea to keep moving him all the time. A normal, healthy hamster doesn't need to be in complete silence. It actually does them good to get used to every day sounds as it means they won't be constantly waking up in the day to investigate various noises., they'll just sleep right on through.
