Default Hmmm..

Im kind of getting more and more worried about Joe.
his behavior has been off for about maybe 2 or 3 weeks now? hes just seemed to be less interactive with me and sleeping lots.
Hes never bitten me.
I have to wake him up for cudddles now before I go to bed, becasue hes never awake when I go down there. Maybe about at 11? or 10.
When I wake him up hes very slow when being handled, and when I put him down for floor time, he just runs really fast under the couch. Though I stop him when hes almost under, He never used to do this.
It feels as though hes almost on edge. Hes very tame and used to come running on my hands when I lay them out flat, but never does anymore. His nails are venturing longer and could that be the problem? Thats honestly what I though it was, and we're going to get them clipped next week cause me and my mom are going to my grandparents house, which is five hours away, tomorrow, and my dad is going to stay home and care for the animals ( Brodie(ourdog) the fish and joe) so when I get back he said we can get them clipped, do you think thats it? Or could it be something else?

P.S. His nails arent very long, there not even curling yet!

Default Re: Hmmm..

Has anything changed for him? (I can't remember, new bin maybe?) Or something re-arranged added to his house. He may have just decided to be more lazy. If he eats and drinks okay and doesn't actually look sickly, I'd look at various normal reasons for his behavior to change. My hams change their behavior periodically (from lazy to hyper and other things).
