Default dose mishka upset fred?

Freds worrying me, he seems quiet, he runs in his wheel less when we are about, he hastles less to come out, he drinks alot and sleeps alot.
I found him afew times on hot days laying on his tummy with his eyes open.
He is active when out, I havent been myself lately so I dont know if hes picking up my vibes.
His sent gland marks seem to be bigger, almost like over grooming pulling fur out but i dont know i would like a second opinion

he never stays still when out so i cant examine him well, ive brushed the fur back there and some bits seem short, his overall under fur is abit pinky.

Is having mishka next to him upsetting him from her smell? my oh asked this, as she is female, can he smell her? even tho she is another speicies of hamster? we have always had hamster cages next to eachother at home, two syrians at a time normally males but we have had afew females. never any agression or displays or bad behavior, they just acted like any hamster in its own cage.
sometimes fred watches mishka, he sits on his plane wing and watches me, or her, he likes sitting up high on things. and likes his sandbath, but is off his wheel. food hasnt been changed for him.
only thing is he ate the last of his millet and chew stick a while ago, might it be they make him hyper? (note he was mad before giving him a chew stick) he has had a new toy put in, a trixie kabob with 'apple' slices, they are wood, apple sent/taiste with a little loufa on them, could they upset him?

any advice would be appriciated
im probably over worrying over him. they are my babys.
thank you!

Maybe! Until a month ago I had two boys - one Syrian (Joffy) and one Campbells (Damian). They would alternate free running overnight in the hamster room and make their nests etc. Neither would really bother the other one's nest and everything was great. But, then I came home with a female Campbells (Bubbles) from the adoption centre. Oh my goodness the havoc!

So, the female's mission seems to be to destroy my poor Joffy’s nest every time she goes out, and I'm sure she sends ultrasonic evil chants at him because now, when it's his turn to run around he seems very wary and stops and listens out to the Campbells rustling all the time. Once I let them meet through the bars Joffy rushed up and just watched. Absolutely fascinated but also upset I think that this is the hamster that has been wrecking havoc on the peace.

Damian and Joffy seemed to co-exist next to eachother peacefully but now the girl’s arrived, I take Joffy's cage out the hamster room when Bubbles is out so he doesn't have to hear her destroying his nest!! I'm probably being overdramatic but for the past week that's what I've been dong anyway!

I don’t think it’s too bad to keep them together as at least it keeps them occupied, but sometimes they might want a break!

hey mongo!
My hams never get time out together, if they are on the floor its in balls, normally fred has play time on the bed, mishka loves just so cuddle up and be stroked.
Their cages are about 5-6 inches appart. all mishka dose is eat-sleep-play in sand pit-run in her wheel.
She never touches his toys or him touch hers.

Poor joffy! she might smell him and want to share a nest with a male, dipending when she is on heat 2-4 days? It could just be he can smell where she has been, boys have one thing on their mind, so could be cautiously looking for her.

I will be moving soon and have more room. I will either move them much further away form eachother, or because I am building mishka a new cage from a long glass cabanet from ikea, freds cage will sit on top. but hopefully there will be room so I can have him on a table.
