Ewww, dirty girl ..
Molly has decided to store her food, sleep, poop and wee all in her little house
This surely can't be good, I've bought her a potty and put some soiled bedding in there but she plays in it rather than uses it. Do you think she will stay this way or can I somehow get her to toilet outside her bed??

Re: Ewww, dirty girl ..
I find that taking their house out and letting them nest in the corner helps but some hams are set in their ways xD

Re: Ewww, dirty girl ..
I never gave Boris (syrian) a sleeping house for this very reason. He has a pile of safebed paper bedding under a corner shelf and he loves it! Just stores his food stash in his bed but goes for a pee in one corner of his cage, which I spot clean each day.
I would remove the house/hut and just give bedding material.

Re: Ewww, dirty girl ..
My Boo-Boo (Bud) does this in the penthouse of the HH.
Its nasty and smells sooooo bad that i have to clean it twice a week - he has 2 houses and a litter tray and sand bath to use - I just think he's way too lazy for his own good.

Re: Ewww, dirty girl ..
Ok, thanks for the replies, I'll take her house away tonight when she wakes up and hopefully she'll start doing her toilet in the potty. I'll put some fresh pee'd bedding in there and hope she realises that's what its for.
