Argh naughty Ginger is bar chewing >_<

He is being very troublesome and unfortunately it seems to have become a chronic behaviour. I have given him more, and new toys, I have been scatter feeding him to keep him busy, I have been trying to make sure I let him out regularly(though if he isn't awake until 2am it isn't always possible). I even put corrugated plastic in the corner where he was chewing but he just moved to a different corner.
I was not expecting it from him, 5 weeks ago he lived in a criteci 9, now he has a mary. Guess he's adjusted to the lifestyle! I have ordered a ZZ1 just waiting for it to arrive!! I'm so impatient for it to arrive. I feel so sorry for him seeing the fur on his nose looking all flattened and thinning. I hope he doesn't do himself too much permenant damage. I'm so paranoid he'll ruin his teeth or cause himself some sort of health problem. I tried putting him in a temporary bin cage but he got really stressed out and just kept jumping up at the sides trying to get out. Grr! Be faster post!!

Oh dear!
I'm glad you've got a non bar cage on the way as it does seem its just become a habit for him now.
Seems liek an eternity when your waiting for cages to arrive I know Fingers croseed the delivery people will get their skates on

aww no!! coco is a chewer too which is why she now in zz1 also
you may not need to but you should be aware that you may need to cover the the tiny holes round the bottom of the cage and where the water bottle is meant to go though,esp if hes a chewer, coco has managed to bite through hers and left a hole
