Strange Behaviour!

mine have two bowls a week, I don't fill their bowls 2 days before cage clean so they have to forage for food they have stashed in their beds, also means they will eat less favourable foods like those little black things in harry hamster..mine like to stash food in the wheel then run on it with the bits flying everywhere..

My Holly has started doing stuff like this, she has only been with me 2 weeks so maybe it is a sign she is settling down and asserting herself. But she seems to have adopted a spot on her lower shelf, under her house, as a special place, first of all she put some of her bedding there and went to sleep curled up on top of it, then a couple of nights later after I had cleaned out her cage, she put all her food stash in the same spot and went back to her sleeping box! Seems like she's trying to keep me guessing, the little minx.
