the best of times, the worst of times...

Popcorn's training has been going really well; tonight he actually sat with all 4 feet on my hand, enjoying a treat, for about 30 seconds; a personal best! Getting bold, I grabbed another treat, changed hands, and he came trotting over; again he sat on my hand, ate it, then went to check out my finger ends, obviously smelling the yoggie drop where I had broken one into pieces. He nibbled, I stayed calm, then he bit me! I'm ashamed to say I did pull my hand back and said "oww"; he went and hid behind his wheel. After rinsing the copious amounts of blood off, I thought I should go back with a sunflower seed as a peace offering and to show I wasn't afraid; luckily he came back and sat on my hand again, but I will be extra careful in future to handle the treats as little as possible, incase I get mistaken for a snack again! Finger = sore . I still love him though

Sounds good! (not the bite!) I did the bath tub method today! He had a yoghurt drop (not off my hand yet) and wandered around the tub. He did loads of mental things and burrowing in the towel! She then went nuts and hyper and nibbled the towel and me! I told her off with a stern 'NO!'. She didn't listen she just went all guns blazing! She wasn't even that interested in climbing on me! Oh well, I think she is tired now! I cleaned her home and she has nice clean bedding and cage! Baby steps!

Aww, bless. Little tinker - sometimes I think they do it just ot test - to see how far they can push it!!
