I personally wouldn't put a pair in anything smaller than a mini duna/rody, which is 21" x 15 (55cm x 39cm). If you are buying a storage tub online, they often measure the external dimensions at the widest point (and a lot of them have a lip wider than the base), which is worth keeping in mind!
