Introducing Oscar!

Well I have been crazy about winter whites, ever since I have been coming here. I tried to find a breeder around here but unfortunatly the one breeder I did find never replied to my emails.

I found a pet shop that seemed to look after them well etc and I do realise that it may be that he is an Hybred or whatever. I am wondering if anyone can tell me from this pic if he is a true Winter White or if he is indeed hybred. I do not mind either way really but am just wondering.

His colour on his nose does seem to be goign more grey

Cant tell you if he is a hybrid or not though sorry! I know that there can be hybrids that look exactly like a 'pure' but they have hybrid in their line down the generation so I am not sure if it is possible to tell form a picture. Someone on here should be able to give you a clue though.

My guess though, is that if he is from a pet shop he is hybrid, only a few breeders breed pure ww in this country and only give any extra stock occasionally to a very few pet stores.

He is lovely.
As has been said it is likely he is a Hybrid however a few breeders do let exces stock go to pet shops.
He is closest in colour to a Sapphire Pearl WW I'd say.
Very cute and he looks very friendly too :)
