Hamster age(s):14 weeks approx
Reason they were abandoned? We are reluctantly seeking a new special home because of teeth probs
Any health problems/special needs? Our vet believes that Honey has had an accident at some time which has caused her to have misaligned teeth which require trimming every 2 wks. Vet believes if we can't rehome her to someone who could trim her teeth at home we cannot continue trimming at the vets surgery as Honey finds this very distressing. Other options are put to sleep or attempt to remove teeth which vet believes Honey would only have 50:50 chance of surviving anaesthetic.
Any behavioral problems? a little shy, but very friendly and easy to handle and absolutely gorgeous
Type of household hamster would best be suited to: (example, family with kids, no kids, no other pets and so on) a person who can trim teeth, used to older children
