Hi, this is Luna, I adopted her last year. She has brought so much joy into my life and I try to spread that bit of happiness with the world (she has a small youtube channel)
I had a question, I caught her lifting the lid off her treats, and I just wanted to know if this is quite clever for hamsters, or just normal hamster behaviour. I think it is clever.
I could link to a video of it on youtube if that is within the rules.

Thanks for the kind comments guys. She has brought so much joy to my life as I have a chronic illness and I am housebound. Adopting Luna has been the best thing that has happened to me since I got ill :)

Haha that's so funny! The way she just picks it up in her teeth and tidily puts it out of the way! Disposes of it :-) She is adorable. Yes I think it is very clever. Not sure our syrian would do that he may just make a big fuss and get me to take the lid off for him - but he's a boy lol.

Turns out it wasn't a one off, she does it all the time. I only ever had male hamsters in the past, they were super chilled. Luna certainly lives up to her name, she is a lunatic on occasions. Get's into everything given a chance. :)
