I now have a lovely sable banded syrian boy. He has had a good look round his cage, pouched some food, had a wash and a wee in his sand tray and has retired to bed.

What a gorgeous boy he is. I chose him from a litter of 6. All gorgeous. He stood out to me due to his lovely ginger eye rings and even white patches on his back and most of all cos of his laid back friendly demenor.

Very happy right now.

Hi Ruth! He is gradually getting used to my hand in his cage. He is a confident boy and definately makes the most of his wheel! He is very keen on apple and cucumber.

Hope his brothers and sisters are doing well and that you find homes for the ones you are letting go.

I have just discovered this thread, so congrats on your new boy. His name suits him perfectly and I’m so looking forward to hearing more about him.
I absolutely live his cage set up and he looks very happy in his spacious cage - a very fortunate and lucky boy to have an amazing home with you.

Thank you skb and sasha.

Tarak is really getting fluffy now (big awwwwws) and will take treats from me and sit and groom whilst I sit by his cage and talk to him.

He is just soooo lovely!

The other night I got very excited because lovely Tarak got up when I was still awake (not happened for almost a week). So I got his play cage out (currently the grosvenor without the platform and ramp)

https://www.littlepetwarehouse.co.uk/products/the-grosvenor-large-rat-and-hamster-cage-with-shelf-grey.html?gclid=Cj0KCQiA_4jgBRDhARIsADezXcgieqq7b_ X-neC_oL3M_ODdkjRl6FHGUzEzqd-9MzKTvyh68DG1hGIaAiFgEALw_wcB

I then offered Tarak a wicker tunnel to climb into and placed him in the cage. I put in tunnels, a sputnik and food and he whizzed around looking cute and fluffy and sniffing the air through the bars. He allowed strokies as he sat eating.

It was lovely to spend time with him x

so Tarak is a late riser then? how anti social. his twin, Bear, moved into the Duna multi maxi today. i superglued a piece of icecream tub over the hole that Daisy made, and Spot enlarged. he's enjoying having a wheel at last.

Aw so glad Bear is enjoying his wheel! Great cage that. Naughty Daisy and Spot!

Any luck with homes for any of the babies? Post a few pics regularly and tempt people!!
