Hamster heaven - wheel

I have bought a hamster heaven today which is the new home for our Syrian hamster Dora the Explorer, also acquired today. I like the cage and so does Dora so far, but the wheel is not great. It doesn’t spin freely and hardly moves. Dora climbs on top of it and it stays steady rather than spinning round.

Is it worth trying to fix it or should I just replace it with something better?

I would just get a better wheel, the one that comes with the cage will be too small for a fully grown syrian so you will need to replace it at some point anyway.
