auto-tagging

just a quick question: it seems that no matter what i do, the site automatically tags my posts with random words from each post. i've tried deleting them before posting as well as putting in spaces instead, but nothing works! i also can't edit them after posting (except to add new ones).

i see others posting without tags, so i'm sure it's possible! i just must be missing something -- help? :confused:
