Hi Everyone,
This is my first post here. My name is Bryan and my wife got me a robo hamster for Christmas. I've had hamsters before, but I was much younger. I am a huge Star Wars fan and because she was given to me roughly the same time Carrie Fisher passed away, I named her Leia.

Anyways, here she is.

I, too, had hamsters when I was much younger and have recently acquired my first hamster as an adult. I've learned lots on HC and I know that the things I've learned here have helped me to give Inky a better life :)

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I've been working on some training, but it is going very slowly. As long as she is awake, if I call her name (or really any words directed to wards her), she will stop what she is doing and just stare at me. I have her cage on a bookshelf next to my computer desk and on Monday, I was playing games and she just sat there for about an hour or so just watching me. I am able to put my hand in her cage and she will come up and sniff it, but if I make any movement, she runs away. I'll keep working at it with some treats.
