Ok hey guys, so I've always kept hamsters - I've had many throughout my life but it's only recently im starting to get really into them. Hamster showing and breeding is a big thing over in england, and it used to be the same over here, I think there was a big breeder and a show held in kilkeel but for whatever reason the Hamster Society over here has died out. I was speaking to a guy who came into pets at home and he was working with someone to try start it up again, and I keep meeting people here and there who would be interested in taking part as well. It's a real pity that there isn't any breeders or shows over here!! We miss out all the fun. So my question is, are there any of you hamster enthusiasts out there in Ireland? It would be great to get in contact and get to know eachother! Even hobby breeders and hammy owners of all kinds. I've never managed to track down the guy from kilkeel but I do believe he's a member on here somewhere.. hope to hear from you's soon! :) x
