So today our little Elliot moved into his Barney cage from the tiny Savic that pets at home sold us. Already we have seen so much more of him as he is busy exploring and nest building. He is very cute but a little more shy today but I expect that's because of the change in cage. He must be about 10-12 weeks old now and he is a sort of grey colour i suppose, short hair and dark eyes and big ears... Should have named him Dumbo. Here are some photos!

Any ideas on what his colouring is?

Not sure on the correct names of the different colours. I just go basic eg grey, light grey etc.

He is lovely! Love his ears! Glad he is enjoying the Barney. I'm sure he'll be settled in soon and a bit less shy :-) If I could make a small suggestion - does he have a house on top of the substrate somewhere? That tends to work for them as they can bury hoards in their house then, and also if he wees in his house it won't spoil the shelf and get stinky :-)
