Private message said to be too long

I tried to send a message but was told it was more than 5000 charecters long. I have sent and received much longer ones. What is happening?!

If there is a long quote attached to the message that might be included in the word count? You could try deleting any previous messages attached to the one you are sending :-)

Also may depend on how many messages the person already has in teir inbox maybe? If the inbox is full or nearly full then messages don't send!

It will be because you have too many quotes attached as already mentioned. Best to just delete all the quotes when you answer really as it makes it neater to understand. Same on the the forum. Using quotes in replies, especially with pics, is nearly always unnecessary and makes threads very cumbersome. I know there is sometimes a need to quote but not all the time.
