My friends guini pig loves dandelion flowers and leaves, and i wondered if it is safe to give to my hamster so i can see if he loves it just as much?

I'm not entirely sure, I think so, but it'd be best to see what others have to say.

As far as I know, its OK in small amounts, and as with any plants, ensure they have no weedkiller on or around them.

They are fine in small quantites as long as there has ben nothing sprayed on or near them however they are a diuretic and can make your hammy wee a lot.

fresh food is best in small amounts, as part of a balanced diet.

Hiya

i agree, small amounts of 'safe' fresh food is good for hamsters. i had heard danelion flowers were not good for hamsters but the leaves were ok, something to do with the sap in the stalk??!! not sure if its fact or not.
