After losing my handsome Syrian Badger I had a Syrian sized hole in my heart and although I had no intention of getting another ham quite so soon I came across a ham on Pets4Homes and fell in love... so, this afternoon, me and my boyfriend are going to pick up a 5 month old female sable Syrian. so excited! Her owner is moving somewhere that doesn't allow pets which is why she's having to rehome her.

I'll post pics asap, I just couldn't resist telling you guys about my newbie! :D

Oh I'm in love <3 Wanted a sable for so long and she's just gorgeous. Long haired too although only has one of the girly tufts on her hips, not sure where the other one is. Maybe she just has the one!

I need naming help! I'm not keen on her old name and have always renamed adopted hams. What do you guys think she looks like?

More pics!

No idea why the pics are sideways... Will have to sort out my photobucket account so I can post them that way.

Well she seems to be settling in well! She's now in the Hamster Heaven which she seemed to enjoy exploring last night. We had a quick cuddle and so far so good with handling.

She has also been renamed and is now called Galaxy :)

She's a ridiculously pretty little girl, you lucky thing starlightserenity!

Is she named Galaxy after a collection of stars and planets or after the chocolate bar? She does look sweet enough to eat ;)

After the chocolate bar as I'm slightly addicted to it!
