hi,
I have an adult male Syrian, around 16 months old. I came home today and found him huddling under a toy in the corner of his cage. I tried to tempt him out with all his favoruite treats but he ignored me. I scrabbled the sawdust next to him and took the top of the cage off. So he moved under a shelf where I could see him and has been huddling down since, again not interested in treats.
No runny nose, no sneezing, no wet tail, seems to be breathing ok (if a little fast but think this is normal?) walked normally when I saw him, eyes normal etc. this isn't normal behaviour for him though. He's huddled face first into the edge of the cage.
Any advice??
