Fur Loss

Hello, My hamster Spiky, who is a Syrian hamster is loosing fur around his neck and his legs and he is also flaking. I don't know how old he his and i've had him for 1 and a half years. He's acting like he normally does, accept he doesn't wake up much at night. I have checked for mites and there are none, Please help.

If he's generally healthy, eating & drinking ok it may just be a sign of age, they do often have some fur loss as they begin to age.

Cypher is right, When hamsters get old they tend to loose fur and become much slower and sleep more than usual. Like Cypher said, if he is eating and drinking and other than what you have said seems to be acting normal then there's nothing to worry about :)
